Native American Day Drone Light Show at Fantasy Springs Resort

On 26 September 2024, Grizzly Entertainment produced a private drone light show at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, in recognition of Native American Day. Commissioned by the Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians, the event brought together cultural significance and modern aerial technology in a 10-minute nighttime display.

A Private Cultural Celebration

The performance was held on the resort property as part of a private event hosted by the Cabazon Band. Approximately 500 invited guests attended. Though not open to the public, the drone show served as a focal point of the evening’s celebration.

Technical and Creative Direction

Grizzly Entertainment was responsible for the show’s full execution, including creative direction, aerial choreography, drone programming, and live operation. The production featured 500 drones, synchronized with music and narration, and displayed a sequence of animated sky formations inspired by Native American symbolism.

The show was tailored specifically for the occasion. It incorporated culturally relevant designs and storytelling motifs. Visual elements were developed in close alignment with the values and traditions of the Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians.

Continued Partnership and Future Plans

This show marked the beginning of an ongoing collaboration between Grizzly Entertainment and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. A second performance is already scheduled for 25 September 2025, again in honor of Native American Day.

Grizzly is also actively expanding its portfolio of cultural and community-driven drone light shows. The company offers custom-designed aerial experiences for tribal organizations, municipalities, and event producers across the region.
