For Hungary’s National Day celebration on 20 August 2025, Grizzly Entertainment delivered a large-scale drone light show over the Danube River in Budapest as part of a 45-minute national production combining drones, fireworks, lasers, architectural projection mapping, dynamic lighting, and a narrated musical score.

The drone show segment featured 750 synchronized drones and lasted approximately five minutes, creating symbolic aerial formations including the Hungarian crown, Archangel Gabriel, and the cross. Launched near the Hungarian Parliament and positioned across the center of the Danube, the show was designed to be visible from both riverbanks, forming a dramatic focal point within Budapest’s illuminated cityscape.

Building on Grizzly’s previous involvement in the 2024 celebration, the 2025 edition expanded the creative and technical scale of the performance with a higher drone count, sharper animation, and closer integration with the wider visual and audio production. The result was a modern, emotionally engaging public spectacle that blended national symbolism with advanced aerial entertainment technology.

The event drew tens of thousands of spectators along the Danube, while key drone formations gained strong attention across social media, reinforcing the impact of drone light shows as a powerful storytelling medium for national ceremonies and large-scale public events.
