Stanford’s First Halftime Drone Light Show

Grizzly Entertainment produced Stanford University’s first-ever drone light show, delivering a fully custom, 10-minute aerial performance during halftime of their football game against Florida State.

The show featured Stanford-themed animations including a rotating 3D helmet that transformed from a vintage to modern design, the Stanford Tree mascot, Jim Plunkett in the Heisman pose, and the Stanford Axe. Each formation was choreographed for stadium-scale visibility and timed precisely to fit the live event flow.

This marked Stanford’s debut into drone-based entertainment, adding a high-impact visual moment to the Game Day experience and setting a new bar for halftime production.
